Younger Next Year for Women Review
A Must-Read for All Age Warriors
I read Chris Crowley and Dr. Henry Lodge's book Younger Next Year for Women and absolutely loved it.
It motivated me to get past my fear of exercise after two severe hamstring tears two years ago. I'm 63 and am feeling younger every day - forget next year! The results are almost instantaneous.
The book is entertaining and an easy read, even though it is chock full of medical studies and information.
The core message of the Crowley/Lodge books is that 70% of the decay and 50% of the illness associated with aging are entirely preventable. That's terrific news for us Age Warriors!
Their first book, Younger Next Year: A Guide to Living Like 50 Until You're 80 and Beyond was aimed at men.
Some of my women friends read it and commented, "Yeah, yeah, I know all that" but they didn't really get it.
I've been passing my copy of the woman's book around and they are simply devouring it.
Men, read this one. Women, read this one. You'll thank me, or rather you'll thank the authors, for changing your life and helping you become Younger Next Year.
There is also a Younger Next Year Journal.
I'm already in the habit of keeping a journal for exercise or when I need to lose a few pounds. If you're not, buy the YNY journal.
It's a 224-page fill-in book with prompts that help you keep meticulous track of your workouts, your heart rate, your diet, how you feel, how you've reached out to others, and more.
