Since its inception, Ageless Beauty has had many articles about affordable skincare products made by companies such as Avon, Olay, Neutrogena, Derma-E, Reviva Labs, Dove and Almay.

We've also had a list of Top Ten Affordable Anti-Aging Products for several years.

Recently, in reaction to the economy, I've been on the prowl for effective yet affordable anti-aging skincare buys in the drugstore beauty aisle. From this quest, a column has evolved.

We named it Real Deal vs. Good Deal.

In these columns, I choose a popular leading edge but pricey skincare product and seek out very similar products that cost an average of two-thirds less.

In the articles, I compare the ingredient lists item by item. If I have any personal experience with the products I share that too.
