After sending out the response above, I came to the conclusion that the subscriber's complaint was misguided.

Ageless Beauty has many articles about very affordable skin care products made by companies such as Avon, Olay, Neutrogena, Derma-E, Reviva Labs, Dove and Almay.

The latest thing in anti-aging skin care is peptides. The products that tend to have the highest concentrations and/or best combinations of the most effective peptides also tend to be in the higher price range. But as "early adopters" of any technology know, they pay the highest prices to get their hands on the latest and best products as soon as they are available.

As economies of scale kick in, these advances become less costly and find their way into more reasonably priced products.

Bargain shoppers already know that discount chains are already selling knock-offs of popular skin care products, such as StriVectin-SD, at a fraction of the cost of the genuine article.

So, even though some of the products I write about may be unattainable for many, I don't write about them to make you envious of something that you can never afford. Rather it is to give you the insight into what to look for.

When you see one of those knock-offs in the drugstore, that insight can help you determine if it really has the "stuff" to compete with the high priced competition.
