You Can Tighten Sagging Skin
Love your website.
I've been "interested" in your research until recently. I say that because recently (in the last 8 months) my skin has seemed to have a conspiracy to go south!
Also, I've lost weight, which hasn't helped.
My face is actually not bad, but my neck and the rest of my skin looks about 75 (I'm only 60).
My 8-year old grandson told me I should try wrinkle cream so my skin would look like his!
Any ideas?

Boy do your comments give me a feeling of déja vu.
First of all, congratulations on losing the weight (assuming you are now at a healthier one)!
Losing more than ten pounds leaves the skin temporarily looser; but loose skin will tighten up again, especially with some help.
At 60, that won't happen as fast as when you were 8. Don't we wish!
At 60, I too started noticing loose skin on my neck and upper arms. Like yours, my face still looked quite youthful - because I had always taken good care of it, like most women.
However I hadn't protected or treated the skin on the rest of my body that had been sun-exposed for 60 years.
Since then, I have made moisturizer and SPF for my neck, chest, arms and legs a part of my daily morning routine.
It definitely has helped. I did one more thing which might be helpful to you at this point and give you an instant self-esteem boost.
I have a little bit of a turkey neck - thanks to my genes. My dermatologist suggested a light chemical peel for my neck and upper chest. I was very pleased with the almost instant results.

(Don't be put off by the term "cellulite". These will work for your skin's condition too.)
You're probably still wondering why I said I had a feeling of déja vu.
A couple of years ago I was particularly stressed dealing with some family issues. It was definitely showing on my face and body. I was aging faster than the clock was ticking and I dreaded looking in the mirror.
When we went to visit with family to help sort things out, my 11-year old niece told me, "My mom says you haven't aged well."
Was I upset? You betcha. But I knew she was right. Out of the mouths of babes. LOL.
The family situation was resolved. I started taking better care of myself again and I'm pleased to tell you that I look younger and healthier today than I did three years ago!
You can too.
Don't give up the fight. It is a battle, but one well worth the effort.
The prize is a better quality of life and higher self esteem as we age. Aging is inevitable; giving in to it is a choice - a bad choice in my book.
