Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor is my all-time favorite long lasting lipcolor. It's #1 on my list of Top Ten Cosmetics.

So when I saw that Revlon has introduced a one-step version of ColorStay, I immediately picked up two tubes for testing. Revlon promises:

• Food-proof lipcolor with a built-in, ultra-conditioning topcoat
• One-step application - no topcoat required for comfortable wear
• Stays comfortable and wears beautifully for up to 12 hours
• Does not feather or fade; no touch-ups required, even after meals
• Available in 20 full-coverage, soft satin shades

I love the convenience of one-step application. The color choices of Revlon ColorStay Ultimate are beautiful. I bought Top Notch Tulip (rose shade) and Best Bubbly (nude).

Everything Revlon says about ColorStay Ultimate is true. So the bullet points above are a good summary of my opinion - making this perhaps the easiest review I've ever written. LOL.

Jean's Bottom Line

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipcolor lasts 12 hours through meals, occasional lip-chewing and even a few passionate kisses; but not quite as well as two-step Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor.

It feels a tad drier than Revlon ColorStay Overtime as well.

The colors are gorgeous and shimmery.

Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor remains my #1 cosmetic pick, but the newer ColorStay Ultimate will edge out another contender as soon as I update the list.
