Besides the primary active ingredient, namely the super antioxidant idebenone, both Idebenol and Prevage contain temporary skin tighteners and excellent moisturizing ingredients.

The biggest ingredient difference between the two is that Idebenol is chock full of botanicals known to benefit the skin.

These include hibiscus flower extract (antioxidant high in vitamin C), asafetida root extract (clarifies the skin), and green tea leaf extract (antioxidant and anti-inflammatory).

If you have plant allergies or know you are allergic to any of Idebenol's botanicals, you would want to select Prevage.

Neither Idebenol nor Prevage contain sun protection, so be sure you add an SPF of at least 15 such as one recommended in Tip Sheet 1: Sun Protection.
