At the time, I commented that NuGlow is the most secretive about its ingredients. I wonder if they read our article because I see that their web site has a new section listing ingredients of all their products!

I think I see a very positive trend here. Premier companies like Avon have long disclosed their ingredients on their web sites. More and more companies are following suit.

When you’re ordering a new product by mail (and many products are only available that way), you’re really buying a “pig in a poke” if the ingredients aren’t disclosed. At a retail establishment, you can pick up the product and read for yourself.

Some web marketers have used the virtual nature of the Internet to hide, or even lie about, product ingredients.

The fact that you can’t reach into your computer monitor and pick up the product to see the label makes it possible for companies to claim their products contain “the most powerful peptide complex yet known” or “a chemical compound as effective as Botox™.

The consumer has no way to evaluate those claims.

Kudos to NuGlow for not being afraid to let you know what you’re getting when you buy their products. I hope they experience a big increase in sales that encourages this marketing trend.

Following are ingredient reviews of my two favorite NuGlow products.

Ingredient Review of NuGlow’s Copper Peptide Serum with Antioxidants

The main active ingredient in NuGlow’s Copper Peptide Serum is copper peptide.

This is another one of those polypeptides everyone is raving about for anti-aging. Copper peptide is unique in that it not only stimulates new tissue growth but also removes damaged collagen and elastin.

Copper peptide could be called the first complete skin regrowth ingredient since it acts in both the demolition of old cells and renovation aspects of skin remodeling, and protects against free radical damage.

As an added bonus, it has anti-inflammatory effects.

Copper peptide promotes collagen and elastin production, acts as an antioxidant and stimulates production of hyaluronic acid, the most powerful Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) currently known.

NuGlow’s Copper Peptide Serum with Antioxidants boosts the antioxidant power of its copper peptide by adding not one or two but thirteen additional antioxidants to diffuse free radicals and prevent further oxidative damage.

Among these are ubiquinone (a.k.a. CoQ10), three variants of vitamin E, grape seed and white tea extracts. Antioxidant protection is especially important during the day when you are exposed to the sun and other environmental stressors.

Club NuGlow – Another One of Those “Club” Scams?

In short, no. First a little background …

We removed two companies from our web site once we learned of consumer complaints about their “club” marketing tactics.

Consumers purchased a product to try or signed up for a free one-month trial supply.

Since they didn’t read the fine print beforehand, they didn’t realize they were joining a “club”. When the product started arriving automatically, consumers sometimes had a difficult time canceling their memberships. When they tried to return the monthly package(s), they were sometimes charged exorbitant “handling fees”.

• 2. You can purchase NuGlow’s products individually, that is, without joining a club.
• 3. If you join, your second delivery will be in sixty days, a reasonable amount of time to use up the first batch. Also the sixty-day interval gives you ample time to cancel if you’re not happy with the products.
• 4. You can select a longer interval than sixty days – nice option.
• 5. Finally, NuGlow’s club packages offer you a suite of their products at significant discounts.

They’re not just cramming the products down your throat. Their approach is to develop client relationships and brand loyalty.
