Moisturizers for Problem Skin

Is there a way to add moisture to aging skin and not add oil?

I am 50, experiencing aging effects, yet I still have t-zone issues.

At times, my skin needs extra moisture, but not added oil.

Yes, absolutely! There are many excellent oil-free moisturizers; and they come in all price ranges.

Here are three which I like.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture SPF 15

Though this moisturizer is oil-free, it contains emulsifying wax. Consequently, some users report that it feels greasy to them.

On the plus side, it contains the second most powerful moisturizer available, Urea, and has broad spectrum sun protection for day use.

Cellex-C Sea Silk Oil-Free Moisturizer

This is my favorite of the three. It contains the strongest moisturizer available, Hyaluronic Acid (also known as Sodium Hyaluronate), plus some very special marine ingredients.

Omegaplankton is a source of Omega 3 EFAs with anitaging and antioxidant powers. The Seasilk referred to in the product's name is a marine extract which adds a silky sheer moisture film to the skin.

Of special interest to users with oil-prone skin, Cellex-C Sea Silk contains extract of watercress which is believed to help reduce sebum production and is utilized as a moisture regulator.

Peter Thomas Roth Oil Free Moisturizer

PTR Oil Free Moisturizer comes as a light lotion/gel which feels especially refreshing on oil-prone skin. It contains Urea, a soothing chamomile derivative (Azulene) and is rich in antioxidant vitamins E and A.

Other Suggestions
