Kinerase

Is Kinerase Kinetin a Unique Proprietary Ingredient?

In short, no. Kinetin is a synonym for furfuryladenine, a plant-based, non-irritating potent antioxidant (ranked fifth most effective by the American Academy of Dermatology).

Some suggest it also triggers other anti-aging mechanisms in the cell.

The very popular anti-aging skin care line, Kinerase, based its branding strategy on its firm belief in the effectiveness of Kinetin.

Fortunately they don't stop there. I took a close look at Kinerase C8 Peptide Intensive Treatment and was quite impressed.

This is the "next generation" peptide product which follows the company's C6 Peptide Intensive Treatment. They've replaced Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 with the newer more powerful Acetyl Octapeptide-3.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (trade name Argireline) blocks transmission of nerve signals which cause facial muscles to contract. Although non-toxic, the effect is similar to that of Botox but less pronounced.

Acetyl Octapeptide-3 (trade name SNAP-8) is an elongation of Argireline and according to the manufacturer, Centerchem, "reduces the depth of wrinkles on the face caused by the contraction of muscles of facial expression especially in the forehead and around the eyes."

SNAP 8 is also available in Peter Thomas Roth Unwrinkle and Peter Thomas Roth Unwrinkle Eye.

Kinerase didn't stop there. C8 Peptide Intensive Treatment has more to recommend it than the powerful antioxidant Kinetin and the skin remodeling peptide Acetyl Octapeptide-3

When I look at the C8 ingredient list, I find the most powerful Natural Moisturizing Factor currently known: Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid); combined with Sweet Almond Oil as an emollient required to make a complete moisturizer.

C8 also contains a potent dose of stabilized Vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate), which is an antioxidant, natural lightener and collagen booster to even skin tone as it fills in the look of fine lines.
