How Effective is Faitox?

I want to purchase a Botox alternative and saw your review on Freeze and Immobile Lines, but was wondering if you've ever heard of Faitox-25.

I like the ingredients but I really want something tried and true.

Freeze 24/7 and Immobile Lines use topical Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) combined with Gynostemma to relax facial muscles. Faitox-25 uses Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8).

The Argireline-based Botox alternatives, like DDF Wrinkle Relax, GreatSkin BTX Double Action Gel and Clinical Deep Crease are easier to apply and therefore more popular.

I use an Argireline-based wrinkle relaxer myself. At first glance the ingredient list for Faitox looks really impressive. The company advertises that the formula is 25% Argireline, 15% Matrixyl 3000 and 10% Snap-8. Great anti-aging ingredients all.

However, I am not sure how to interpret those numbers. I suspect that if we looked at the ingredient list on the product, water would be number 1.

Several companies advertise 100% Hyaluronic Acid, for example, (meaning they use pure HA as an ingredient rather than a compound or dilution); but when you look at the ingredient list, water is number 1 and HA is sometimes pretty far down the list.

Faitox does not provide its full ingredient list on its website, as many companies now do. So I wrote to the company requesting it.

It impresses me when a company responds to such requests. [ It would impress me even more if they posted the complete ingredient list on the website.]

According to the full ingredient list which the company sent me, Faitox-25 is comprised of:

Distilled water, Hyaluronic Acid, Argireline, Matrixyl 3000, Snap-8, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Potassium Sorbate.

I have a few comments on the formula:

• 1. It is simple-y elegant - the fewer ingredients (pure and well-tested), the less risk of adverse reaction;
• 2. Hyaluronic Acid is the most powerful moisturizer currently known;
• 3. The company's ads listing 25% Argireline, 15% Matrixyl 300 and 10% Snap-8 appear to be honest;
• 4. The addition of powerful antioxidant vitamins C and E is a real plus, and
• 5. A natural preservative in place of the controversial parabens is much preferred to a formula with no preservatives.

I give Faitox-25 two thumbs up.
