Dark Eye Circles
Ways to Cover Up Your Circles
Hi,
I have spent the day going through your site and think the info you provide is great!!
I read an interview with Dr. Doris Day giving advice on skin care, and have to say the ingredients you both have listed as being effective antiaging products are identical.
I'm 28 and have lines developing between my eyebrows from squinting etc. (due to the fact I wear glasses for my vision and don't wear sunglasses), very faint lines, laugh lines, and horrible dark circles around my eyes.
I have tried natural solutions like cucumber, potato, kiwi fruit, almond oil, apple cider vinegar and others I have read about online. I have also tried creams and haven't found anything that really works.
Can you suggest a product or solution that will help diminish these dark circles as I look like I am always tired.
I get occasional breakouts, have blackheads on my nose, and get clogged pores.
I have read up on the ingredients that products should have to be effective on your site and am thinking of purchasing Avon Clinical Wrinkle Corrector for these problems and to add a natural glow and improve the appearance of my skin as I have not been able to find the Neutrogena Visibly Firm Night Cream, which I also thought would be suitable for my needs.
What do you think? Based on my age, do you think I should be using such a product? I don't want it to do more harm than good.
Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!
Aylin
Thanks so much for the positive feedback.
You're at an age where your body still produces its own moisture and antioxidants, plus sufficient collagen and elastin to keep the skin plump. But production is slowing, as evidenced by the lines starting to appear around your eyes.
Because you still have breakouts and tend to develop clogged pores, you don't want to use the very rich skin creams designed for older and very dry skin on your entire face.
So you're on the "right" track by choosing either Avon Clinical Advanced Wrinkle Corrector or Neutrogena Visibly Firm Night as a night cream.
If you can't find them locally, they are available online. Just click on the links I've given you here.
Since you say you've always had the under-eye circles, I assume they are of the hereditary type caused by thin skin and congestion in the blood vessels under the eyes.*
A peptide-containing eye cream formulated to lighten dark circles would address both the fine lines and the dark circles. Here is an article comparing Hylexin Serious Dark Circles, Preventin-AT and Dermactin-TS Serious Dark Circles eye creams.
