DHC EGF Moisturizer
A Fine New Moisturizer
Hi,
DHC Skincare has a new moisturizer, EGF, that seems like a good product.
I'm currently using a 15% AHA/BHA Cream with OK results.
Do you think I'll get similar or better results with the DHC product?
Thanks,
Desiree
Quite coincidentally, I received a pack of DHC samples just a week ago. And it's not just because I edit an anti-aging website. DHC sends samples with all its catalogues, as well as with every order.
You can request a catalogue through their website and see what you think of their products for yourself.
I applaud the DHC company for this very customer-focused marketing touch.
What I don't applaud is that they don't provide product ingredient lists either on the website or in the catalogue. So I really can't tell you whether the EGF cream has enough Epidermal Growth Factor to be effective.
However, here's what I know about EGF and it is quite an impressive skin healing, anti-aging ingredient.
Finally, I wouldn't replace an exfoliating product with an EGF one if your skin is beyond age 40.
Past age 40, the skin can use rebuilding (with topical peptides) as well as exfoliation. Read why here.
Jean,
Thanks. I appreciate your response. This was very helpful.
I received the catalogue with the sample and like the marketing technique.
It does make sticking to the tried and true challenging with the new products they send.
Again, it's good to have your insight. Your website will be one of my favs!
