Avon Anew Clinical Laser Test Results
Another "Mini Clinical Trial" to Demonstrate the Effects of Avon's Anew Clinical Laser System
If you haven't read the first article and survey we posted on Avon Anew Clinical Laser two-step system for "spider veins" and facial redness caused by damaged capillaries, please read my review.
In this article, we follow up with one of our survey respondents who leapt at the chance to conduct an extended test of Clinical Laser on reddened areas of her face and on some spider veins around her ankles.
We provided the product and she agreed to use Avon Anew Clinical Laser faithfully day and night for four more weeks (a total of six weeks) and provide before and after pictures along with her observations.
At the time of our survey, June had already used Clinical Laser for two weeks and had seen significant improvement on her face. She reasoned that if it worked on facial spider veins, it might work on the same condition elsewhere on the body. However after two weeks she could not see any improvement on her ankles.
Here are June's before and after photos along with her comments.
"These pictures certainly aren't flattering but I promised, so here goes. Photos on the left were taken one month ago.

Facial Spider Veins
I think these pictures speak for themselves. I no longer need to use a heavy concealer around my nostrils;

Leg Spider Veins
"These before and after photos really surprised me, since I saw no improvement whatsoever in the first two weeks of treatment. But after four more weeks, the photos clearly show a reduction in my leg spider veins. I'm really glad to have the pictures as proof because on a day to day basis, I couldn't discern much change.
On this ankle, only one large spider vein remains and even it is much shorter than before. If the improvement continues, I'm going to buy myself a pair of sexy shoes to draw attention to my younger looking gams!"
Unfortunately, it appears that Avon has decided not to sell this promising product any longer.
What About the Competition?
Avon's Anew Clinical Laser System is not the only cosmeceutical to treat damaged capillaries. If you would like to try one of the others, we would welcome the opportunity to post your review - with or without pictures!
Reviva Labs sells Varicose Vein Lotion for the legs and Vitamin K Cream for the face.
Derma E advertises that its Clear Vein Creme Spider Vein/Bruise Solution does not contain vitamin K, but instead relies on botanical ingredients.
[ Vitamin K plays an important role in blood clotting but, in excess, has been linked to thrombosis (dangerous clots which obstruct blood flow).]
