Is It Time for You to Join the Battle?

Hi Jean,

I'm a new follower of your blog and want to let you know what a great service you provide for women over 40. Everything is so geared to younger women elsewhere that it's hard for us 40 and 50-something women to find appropriate looks.

I recently turned 45 and had one of those light bulb moments. I happened to glance in a full length mirror before heading out to work one morning. I thought, "Who are you trying to fool? You're not 25 any more."

I didn't have time to change so went to work in that look. I felt so uncomfortable all day that I did my best to hide in my cubicle. It was pretty depressing.

That evening, I Googled several terms and wasn't impressed by any of the resources until I found your Ageless Beauty Shop of Best Anti-Aging Books.

I ordered two of them right away: Staging Your Comeback and Younger Next Year for Women.

While waiting for my books to come, I checked out the links from the shop to your related articles and found so much great stuff that I signed up as a follower. I love your upbeat approach and the wealth of information you have for us Age Warriors. That's a good term; it sure describes how I feel. I'm in this battle to the end.

I especially enjoy the Sunday Ageless Beauty Shops. It's very helpful to find related products that you have recently recommended in one place that I can use to fill my wish list online.

I also appreciate your feedback on the Ageless Beauty Shops. This is a weekly column we recently started running on Sundays. We weren't sure how they would be received. Would they be seen as too commercial or redundant with the articles? Based on feedback like yours, our instincts appear to be on track.

When I first stumbled upon the Pop Shop application, I thought it would be very convenient for our readers, especially since it updates itself automatically.
